Once reckoned the most popular punk outfit in Belfast, the Outcasts never quite developed their assets as well as the rivals who passed them by. On the quartet’s one album, they faintly suggest a young, punky Slade, but they’re not raucous enough, and their songs, save for the title tune, are not catchy enough to be memorable.
