The mention of the Bantams reminded me of an article I saw in an old issue of Time magazine circa '66 about these pre-teen bands. Also, I saw an old episode of Shindig from around that time that featured Soupy Sales & the band that his sons Tony & Hunt had called Tony & His Tigers

the bamtams were also in The Cool Ones (feat The Leaves (!!))

Loud cursing of the phone company for not fixing my damn phone line yet.

nothing today really... but this question takes me back to my first apartment where I'd wake up to go to a job I hated and, to get my ass going, I'd put on "Fight To Live" by Blitz and play it good and loud... it starts with "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT"! After I began living with my wife, I don't think she appreciated it when I'd still play it on occasion...
