Yanno, I just realized my ballsiest pick (Just Like A Woman) was based on lyrical ballsiosty smiling smiley which is fine, but since I fear being trumped by those logically linking "ballsy" with testosterone fueled, I'd like to also add a vote for "I Got A Right".

I challenge anybody to come up with a wimpier song than:

Magnet and Steel by Walter Egan

Put that sad sack out of his misery!

Wimpiest - pick a song from Prefab Sprout's *Andromeda Heights*. The songwriting is there, but the production is Disney-soundtrack slick throughout.

Ballsiest - Kiss' "Detroit Rock City."

Wimpiest - "Leader of the Band" Dan Fogelberg (the `70's were a goldmine for this stuff)

Ballsiest meaning rocking - "Hair of the Dog" Nazareth

Ballsiest meaning gutsy - "Darling Nikki" Prince - previously Prince was covering up his sex talk with wordplay. In this song, he leaves no question to what was going on. And he released the song as a single. During the time of the PMRC (PRMC?) he was saying "this song will chart and there's nothing you can do about it", and he was right. The song was also pretty crummy.

WIMPIEST - A Simple Plan - (Untitled - How Could This Happen To Me?)
BALLSIEST - Sacred Cowboys - Is Nothing Sacred? (a guy I know was asked by a friend to make a mix tape of the most ambient and mellow tunes he could find for him to listen to while he was "fishing in the countryside in Italy" and he put "Is Nothing Sacred?" on the very end, guy just about fell out of his boat)
