Choosing has nothing to do with it. At first you choose the drugs, but for some, at some point, the drugs choose them. Coleridge, bix beiderbecke, and now Amy.

Choosing has everything to do with it, starting with who (not what) she chose to live with. If it sounds I'm like insinuating *he* contributed to her demise, I am - and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Damn.

It isn't much of a surprise, but it's still a terrible bummer.

She was one of my recent favorites. There was a point where I might was well have had no other CDs in my car aside from Back To Black. It was all I was listening to.
