sail on sailor 6 straight times

is there in rock and roll--no bach or gorecki or free jazz please, i have a headache--a better example of one killer song buried inside a completely dispensable LP, like linda evangelista in a thong walking amongst amish schoolchildren?

There are lots of similar examples...five that come to mind immediately:

The Vapors - Turning Japanese
Norman Greenbaum - Spirit in the Sky
Soeur Sourire - Dominique
The Ides of March - Vehicle
Thunderclap Newman - Something in the Air

i love vehicle soooo much: a perfect wedding song; but must say there's a lot i like on/in/about something in the air. then again i think forever changes is a masterpiece

syndicate of sound comes to mind: whatever LP little sister is on.

and no offense but i'd take BB's SOS way over turning japanese, if we were, let's say, trading baseball cards or selling silver on the hong kong markets

No love for Trader or Big Sur? I guess I am the resident BB apoloigist.

Hitmen - "Bates Motel" - can't remember the album it's off of (don't remember it being BAD exactly, but the fact that I can't remember anything else off it should tell you all you need to know)>

Fuzzbox - "Pink Sunshine" the only song that works at all (even on its own Bananarama-wannabe terms) from the craptastic "Big Bang".

Ramones - "Pet Sematary" or "Merry Christmas (I Don't Wanna Fight Tonight") from Brain Drain. Of course since both tracks are available elsewhere on can argue that makes said album completely dispensable.

The first side of Torn Together by the Hitmen is actually quite good. I like "What Would the Neighbours Say" better than "Bates" . . .

pet semetary is a good example
