Out of London’s exploding early punk scene came this novelty — an album that reached local shops within 24 hours of the start of its recording! The band wasn’t anything extraordinary — just amateur working class thrash’n’bash — but the speedy creation of the record made quite a stir for a few moments. The record came packed in a mailing envelope covered with stickers and rubber stamps; the insert sheet includes a complete log of the 21 hours it took to finish. Bizarre.
