A quest for creativity or self-indulgence of the highest order? Four Londoners construct rudimentary songs (actually just riffs, they’re so skeletal) over repetitive drum rhythms with spare bass, guitar, vocal and trumpet accompaniment. Some are outré adventures (like a ragaesque track that sounds as though it was performed by bees), others more conventional, though the fragile vocals are mostly blurred by echo. “Searching…for some jewel of the mind we hope that we’ll never find.” Please, look elsewhere.
