Known only as Jenny [Gabel] and Jim [Miller] on their CD, Biscuit combines lofty female vocals with guitar and assorted noises. Biscuit takes what at the base is a sweet song, and turns it creepy, making adjustments until what once could be a lullaby has turned into an ominous incantation. The songs remain open and loose, as does Jenny’s adherence to pitch; the large use of reverb keeps the tunes awash in atmosphere. The album was co-produced by Kramer and Steve Watson.
