He definitely sounded pretty cool. Pat Morita - better known as Mr Miyagi, Arnold, and the star of the immortal Mr. T and Tina has also passed.
But this reminds of the book the Rock Snob's Guide or whatever it's called, that has a whole discussion of various fifth Beatles and their worthiness for the title. I've still gotta go with George Martin.
BTW - the Rock Snob book is interesting and moderately amusing, but ultimately its failure to even mention TP dooms it to irrelevance. I'm not sure if it even mentions the 415 record label! Or Vaughan Oliver!!!!!!!!
