Alas ... the famed Italian opera singer has passed away. Surely he'll be missed.

Angels games will never be the same.

At least Jay Johnstone is still with us.

He was at his best when he didn't *try* to be funny. It's the difference between something like Spy Hard (which I know a lot of people like), and the original Police Squad series and the first Naked Gun film. That "locksmith" scene works so well because of his delivery. Too bad. He was a hell of a nice guy, I've heard.
