Mazarati

Another product of Prince’s musical factory, Minneapolis’ Mazarati were favored with a record contract, the attentions of the Revolution’s bassist as songwriter and producer, a paisley’n’jewelry fashion consult and one honest-to-god Prince song (“100 MPH”). Unfortunately, the band itself hasn’t got an ounce of personality, and this album drifts along interminably through eight laboriously smooth rock-funk numbers.
