Yes zwirnm, I remember it in a Burger King commercial when I was a kid in the mid '90s. Had to have been one of the first places I ever heard "I Melt with You." Also Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I Put a Spell..." was selling Burger King to for some odd reasonby PeteinVA
Jesus, this is awesome. Last thing they put out was the quasi covers album in '04 that was just ok. This should be damn good.by PeteinVA
Hey all, In my quest to interview as many musicians as want to talk to me, I recently interviewed Guy Hoffman from the BoDeans and the Violent Femmes. Check it out here:by PeteinVA
Me too! I think it's one of the top records of the year, except for the latter half. Those tracks are too slow for their own good but jesus does Richard sound great.by PeteinVA
I've listened to so many over the years. The Vic Chesnutt Sweet Relief I always felt was better than the original Victoria Williams. My fave is probably either Schoolhouse Rock Rocks! or Virus 100 because of L7, NoMeansNo and Faith No More. Can we forget that there were '90s tributes to Rumours, Carole King and the like? Those were just godawful.by PeteinVA
Hey all I’ve been reading your posts like a geeky fanboy for the last decade or so and I finally joined up. One of the first books I fell in love with was the last TP guide in 1997. I think I’ve gone through at least four copies and two copies of the previous guide. I was even fortunate enough to write for the site for a bit. I’m an author myself and a 90s alt rock snob/geek.by PeteinVA
