I've been living my entire musical life while chewing bubblegum at the same time (I've even still got all my teeth).
It tastes good and reminds me of the time when it was thrown in free along with a Brooks Robinson baseball card.

Ok, it's not, "Rubber Soul" is - but AHDN is pretty brilliant.

Let's break it down : 13 tunes - John (basically) wrote 10 of them, sings 9(!) of them - gives the weakest to George and it's still great.

Paul writes and sings 3 winners without a wussy one in the bunch.

No George weirdo Indian nonsense.

No psychedlic noodling.

No Ringo novelty tunes.

Plus, completely by accident they invent power-pop.

What's not to like?
