End of the Century can't be left off a Ramones list. Aside from Spector's production (which I think sounds great), it has great songs. EOTC and s/t are were the list begins. I can easily agree on the other two, of course I'm not sure I'd put Adios on the list but I certainly don't hate the album and it does cover all bases.

I've always been partial to *Leave Home* as well as *EOTC*.

You said no comps; would that include live albums? 'Cuz I'm passionate about *It's Alive* and the King Biscuit Flower Hour CD issue.

My personal four? *Leave Home*, the debut, *It's Alive* and *EOTC*. Order depends on my mood, any given day. (Yeah, I know, it's damn near heresy to omit the debut, but so what, they don't burn heretics at the stake anymore. Not even in Colorado!)

My Ramones ranking would be:

1. Rocket
2. It's Alive (in a earlier post, I speculated what would have happened if Sire released this in the U.S.; maybe another Cheap Trick in Budokan?)
3. Leave Home
4. Subterranean Jungle (I think it's an underrated album & apparently so does Little Steven since he does play tracks off it on the Underground Garage)

I also like End of the Century, which would be 4a on the list, especially since it was the first Ramones album I heard.
