I didn't know that about Naked Raygun. Is that confirmed? Or am I just naive?

There was the funk band Mandrill. It had an ape on the cover, but I dunno..

That's a funny recurring bit in the Joy Division biopic "Control," about how one of the members doesn't like the name "Buzzcocks."

It's not a band name, but guitarist Gary Lucas included a song called "Robert's Johnson" on his album Skeleton At the Feast.

Back in the early 90s, there was a punkish blues band running around here in Austin called Blind Willie's Johnson.

So, Steve, what do you have in mind when you suggest a '70s FM style show?

My wife likes to set the navigation app on her phone to speak in a "Seventies FM radio" voice. It sounds kinda like Venus Flytrap from WKRP in Cincinnati. ("You have reached your destination. Of course, life is all about the journey.")
