I doubt I’ll be able to make the drive all the way up, but I have friends who do.

“The return of Jackie and Judy“ is Fred Armisen and Carrie from “Portlandia“ doing Ramone’s covers.

Can’t believe Frightwig are still around! I like them, but don’t think they ever blew up too big.

Frankie and the witch fingers make awesome hard-core Devo type craziness. Never seen them, but I’ve heard their show is excellent.

I've gone to the Mosswood weekend in past years, and had a great time, in part because of two great travel/concert pals here who have learned all the ideal haunts and watering holes in Oakland. And I'm really glad the show is continuing.

As it happens, though, we just dedicated the lion's share of our travel budget for the year to a trip this fall.
