The Music Gig

Hi,
Ira used to write for The Music Gig magazine in the 1970s, I'm trying to find out more about the magazine, but can't find any info. Can someone tell me a little about the magazine and what happened to it? Was it a monthly? US or English? And was it the predecessor to Trouser Press?

It was based in New York. Independenctly owned. The editor was Jean-Charles Costa. Monthly IIRC.

I don't offhand recall..maybe 5? And, no, it had nothing to do with Trouser Press. A couple of us wrote for it and Dave Schulps worked there for a bit.
