Went to see UK Subs live Saturday night at the 229 club London. Charlie Harper is an incredible 81 years old and still on top form. The rock and roll lifestyle seems to suit him, he even introduced his Grandchildren to the audience. I wonder whats the oldest performer that any ones seen.

We saw Burt Bacharach when he was 89. It was a remarkable show.

We saw the Sun Ra Arkestra when Marshall Allen was 99, he's 101 now and they just finished a tour with Yo La Tengo.

I haven't seen Marshall Allen, but I've listened to his 100th birthday record New Dawn.
