What a sad loss, and what a terrible way to go. I saw Jill open for Todd Rundgren in the early '90s. Just her guitar and her voice, yet she held the audience captivated through a wide range of moods. Rest in peace, Jill, and thank you. 

Just saw her a couple of weeks ago and she was very entertaining. Tragic.

That sucks, she was such an inspiration to the LGBT community...I remember my gay friends applauding when they listened to her "I Kissed A Girl" song, it meant so much to them. The most interesting aspect of it all was that there wasn't a huge outcry from the "moral police" when it came out, perhaps a testament to how things were much saner back then in the 90's before social media.
