OK next week try band of sisters (and half-sisters/step-sisters; don't want to miss Throwing Muses) if you can come up with a generous enough setlist!

Next Friday is Valentine's Day, so I have something else in store already.

I've done a couple of "bands of sisters" shows in the past, usually in September (to commemorate my sister's birthday). Rock 'n' roll includes so many fraternal bands that I probably could do six weeks of "bands of brothers" without featuring any band twice. But a solid, listenable two-hour rock 'n roll show of sisterly bands? That takes some digging.

I should mention that David Haldeman continued the theme a bit with a block on "Dead Electric":

"S.I.B. (Swelling Itching Brain)" – Devo (by request)
"Space Age Love Song" – A Flock of Seagulls
"The Number One Song in Heaven" – Sparks

Hey Delvin, FWIW, the Pop Art brothers are (were) the Steinharts. (The only Reinhardt brother that comes to mind is Richie Ramone.)
Swell show!

Thanks, Five! I'm not sure how I bobbled that detail, but I appreciate you bringing it to my attention.

What? No Sunnyboys?

Like I said, it was an all vinyl show. But hey, apparently, my knowledge is falling short, regardless of medium.

Aitch, where’s the best place to start with the Sunnyboys discography?

Very hard to go past the self-titled debut. I liked the preceding EP which seems to have been reprised on a record called 40. For some reason Spotify has two Sunnyboys entries, so you'll need to look at both to listen to the two releases I've mentioned. Sheesh.
