I am legendarily averse to Christmas music (being Jewish, and working retail at record stores during the 1990s when we would play Mannheim Steamroller and Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas records ad nauseum) but I did make my Christmas Indie for Jews playlist of which I'm quite proud:

Surprised the Christmas Will Crush Your Soul playlist doesn't include "The Smile of Rachael Ray" by David Mead, maybe the most melancholy Christmas song of the 21st century.

My wife found a "lo-fi" Christmas playlist on Apple Music yesterday. Definitely not soul-crushing; indeed, it would make a fine chill-out playlist for a cocktail party.
