Listening to All Mod Cons and wondering what got into Weller with the very ungrammatical line "no bombs will ever keep me from she"? Is this some poetic reference that I don't get?

i'll look later but Byron's Don Juan has many examples of godawful solecisms like those and they are being debated to this day

rhyme and rythm placed OVER grammar and sense by youthful poet (byron and Weller)

or

Poet does not give a shit re convention (byron was first rock star)

OR

somehow are lines reflective of a less educated persona dwelling in a neo marxist underclass cockney kind of way thing?

(note my outstanding grammar in last clause)

either way let's break for cocktails

I think he's just really into the book SHE by H. Rider Haggard and can't wait to get home to keep reading it.
