Yes! Now I just need to wait till my employment sitch stabilizes. (Layoffs at my company over the next month or so.)

When was the last time 3/4 of the original line-up played the U.S.? (I realize the full original line-up recently did a run of shows in the UK. If I had the money to burn, would've flown to the UK for that.)

I saw this lineup five months ago, here in Seattle. The Avengers opened.

...and I saw them in NYC that same month. We got the Dictators and Lenny Kaye. There were a few other dates as well.

I know it seems greedy to see them twice in the span of a year ... but jeez, seeing The Damned, the Adverts and the Bellrays on the same bill would be terrific.

Man, really slept on that one! Not surprising I missed it, that was a pretty hectic time of the year for me.

FWIW, in the first episode of the new Netflix spy-thriller series Black Doves, Rat Scabies appears as the owner of a music shop. I'm digging this trend of casting rock musicians from the punk and post-punk era.

Check out 24 Hour Party People. It's a dramatization of the Manchester music scene, from the late '70s through the '80s. Several musicians from that scene make cameo appearances in other roles. Howard Devoto's cameo is brief, but especially hilarious.
