Kingmaker is going by Kingmaker 4AD now? I'm assuming that's to distinguish them from some other Kingmaker, but the only other one I could turn up is a metal band from Chicago that doesn't seem to have attained even the modest success of the proto-Britpop Kingmaker. Even weirder, I don't believe Kingmaker was ever on 4AD back in the day - one of the few things I know about them is they were signed to Chrysalis and unhappy about it. So I have no idea what the connection is to enable them to append 4AD to their name, unless maybe they've split into duelling Kingmakers and one is signed to 4AD.
