Punky stuff from Springfield, IL, early 90s.

I could've sworn I'd posted these guys years ago, but a quick search of the forum doesn't turn up anything, so I guess I didn't. Most of the nuggets I've posted tended to be 70s and 80s, so maybe I avoided them cuz they were 90s.

Anyhow, they were the leading band in Springfield during the several years I lived there. They were always in the audience on the very, very few occasions a touring band worth seeing played Springfield, and instead of applauding or "whoo-ing" in appreciation after any song, lead vocalist Jeff Williams would yell "ROOOAAAAARRRRRR" at the top of his lungs, which was either endearing or amusing, depending on one's mood. They opened for MDC when they were one of those rare bands to come to town, and Dave Dictor professed to be mightily impressed.

They had a bit of a following in the Midwest and one or two of their albums got reviewed (favorably, iirc) in Option and Alternative Press, but they never made much of a mark nationwide. But they were good guys the few times I encountered one of them in the wild.
