I sometimes listen to The Vinyl Guide podcast. The latest episode caught my attention since it covers the story behind an album called
Moon Blood by a group called Fraction. I listened to the episode yesterday and thought the story was pretty interesting. This album is about to be reissued, but there were only 200 pressings of the original and it's apparently a holy grail among collectors. Here is the blurb about the episode:

Oh, and if you are curious what the music actually sounds like, you can find it on You Tube. I listened last night--not really my cup of tea, but worth hearing one time now that I know the story of the band and album.
