How sad to think the three of them aren't around anymore. You either get the Ramones, or you don't. It really all comes down to them in the end.

It is very sad, and what makes it even sadder is that Loser Extraordinaire Vincent Gallo was allowed to be at Johnny's bedside when he died. Rob Zombie and Eddie Vedder I can sorta see, but Vincent Gallo?!? At any rate, rest in peace, Mr. Cummings.

I saw the Ramones documentary, "End of the Century" on Sunday. Highly recommended for all Ramones and punk fans. It was sad, of course, but it was also hilarious (mostly Dee Dee, right?) and there was a lot of great footage from the early days. Johnny came off like a cold hearted guy, which he may have been, but I always loved his guitar playing. And his band.

Life on mars is like that sometimes.
