Re: R.I.P. Graeme Naysmith

They were maybe the band from the original shoegaze wave that took me the longest to get into, but now "Sight of You" is pretty firmly in my top five songs of the genre, thanks in no small part to Naysmith, whose guitars smash you in the face like Moe Howard with a bakery full of pies.

Also one of the shoegaze bands that largely escaped my attention, so, as with so many bands/artists lately, it may take the death of a band member to cause me to go investigate their canon further. I'm sorry Mr. Naysmith had to die in order for me to take another look at the Pale Saints. RIP, sir.
