After she played the "Love is the Law" by the Suburbs, my daughter said that is probably their most popular song. Like there is a big Suburb following at Pitt. I dunno, I think "Rattle My Bones" is my favorite.

I've heard "Love Is the Law" on First Wave on Sirius a couple of times this week, and had never heard it there before in the past ten years. Is there a Suburbs renaissance happening or something? Did TikTok discover that song? That generally has seemed to be the case in the last few years when a previously obscure-ish (to the world at large, maybe not around here) song suddenly starts popping up in multiple places.

I saw that TV On the Radio's "Wolf Like Me" just went gold, 18 years after release. Did this get a sudden burst thanks to TikTok or soundtrack/commercial placement?

Suburbs love is the law just cleared 1 million listens on Spotify… all their other stuff is in the 100k range. Somewhere (tik tok, a video game, etc?) this is getting played.

Actually, maybe it’s driven by its appearance on the ‘freak out’ show??

All I know is I post "Perfect Communist" on Facebook every May Day. I'm sure that's gotten the Suburbs one view a year - from me, when I go to retrieve the link and post it for my legion of followers.
