The story as written in The New Yorker reads like it could be a pilot for a limited series on Netflix.

I'm glad the local public library here still has at least two TP editions in circulation.

Geez, if they could make a compelling series out of a piece of low-rent dreck like Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling, imagine what they could do with Trouser Press? And I love that illo with the Klark Kent EP. I have four different pressings myself, and I didn't even bite for the recent RSD one.

We used to say that the pinballing nonsense we spouted in the TP office would make an entertaining sitcom. Imagine The Front Page meets The Young Ones.

Great piece, but too short!

Exactly what I was thinking, especially from a mag that usually does a deep dive.

I'm doing just that ... and it makes me want to get on the phone to the networks, and tell them to jump on it!

Can I play Neil? I do a fairly good impression of him. “Helloo, vegetables…”

Always nice to see some love for Trouser Press and Ira.

Ditto the Young Ones! If interested, I recently listened to the BBC’s ‘desert island discs’ podcast with Ade Edmondson… he brought himself and me to tears when discussing his final meetings with Rik mayall. Good bloke.
