Former safecracker/tough guy who spent years as Ian Dury's bodyguard/minder/goon, tasked with what was surely the interesting and likely terrifying responsibility of trying to keep Dury out of trouble, but apparently more often than not ×as part of the trouble.
Jake Riviera seems to have been so terrified of Rowe that he generally knuckled under any time Dury sent Rowe to work out any differences Dury might have had with Elvis Costello on the Stiffs Live tour.
