Indeed !

And every interview I've ever read, when he was asked to recount his salad days, he unfailingly answered that he knew that he had "made it" when The Trans-Oceanic Trouser Press printed the very first review he wrote.

So, I'm still a bit confused,

I was stoked to find that Mr Fab had discovered this thread via the fyimusicnews.ca site, that both Ira's, one from the Trouser Press and one from the band Yo La Tengo were throwing out the first pitch today at the Mets game. Fine, we can finally clear this up once and for all.
So it's now past 1pm on game day and I can't watch the game, because I'm at work. But with all the excitement, naturally, I have a few questions.

The opening pitch... I reckon they threw simultaneously, right?
Were they strikes ?
If not, perhaps only one of the Ira's should have thrown, considering that the other Ira pointed out in an earlier post, that the other Ira can actually hit. Maybe, they should just go ahead and add both Ira's to the line up today? One Ira to pitch, the other to hit.

But alas, not enough time to add their last names to the back of their jersey's.
