Guitarist for the Alan Parsons Project and Pilot (they of the 70s sunshine pop chestnut "Magic"), but the thing all his obituaries are leading with is he played the guitar solo during the fade on "Wuthering Heights."

He was living with dementia the past few years. Not a nice way to go. I feel for his family.
