A long-time Seattle resident. I never met him, but I did see him at a few concerts here.

He begged off the Yes tour that just started due to ill health. I suspect he knew. A shame.

My favorite Yes drummer was Bruford, but the fact remains that the only Yes album in my collection for the last 35 years has been "Drama"with White drumming, so there's that.

Also, his drums on “Owner of a Lonely Heart” were the samples for the Art of Noise’s “Close (To the Edit).” All these years I didn’t get the joke in the title until I found that out.

Ironically, "Close to The Edge" was Bruford's meisterwerk with the band!
