The timing would seem particularly tragic and I hope it’s just a really bizarre coincidence.

‘Too many creeps’ is ABSOLUTELY one of my favorite songs that TP panned—Boo hiss.

Wow. I saw them at SXSW a couple of years ago. He looked energetic and healthy.

Another band that I failed to pursue back in the day, but I may look into that retrospective compilation. I hate it when the death of a band member is what causes me to discover them.....

The BTs sound better to me now than back then. I didn't pan "Too Many Creeps"--that was Tim Sommer, and I'm not sure I concur now or then, but he was in part explicitly reacting to the heavy buzz around them at the time, with which I might have agreed.

Regardless, another passing to mourn.

Ah, I could never hold a grudge against Jim Green or Tim Sommer, bad review or not….they introduced much of the music that meant everything in the world to me!
