Isn't Mi-Sex from New Zealand, though?

The Saints have got a great catalogue, both with Ed Kuepper and with Chris Bailey, but somehow only their first hit ever gets played.

True, about both Mi-Sex and The Saints.

And I concede, it's semi-inaccurate to call Crowded House an Australian band. The line-up started out with a Kiwi and two Aussies. Both times I saw the group, the membership included one Kiwi, one Aussie and two Americans. Currently, the line-up includes three Kiwis (Neil Finn and his sons, Liam and Elroy), one Aussie (Nick Seymour) and one American (Mitchell Froom).

I admit, I got a little lazy on this one. I had to commute to south Seattle, all last week. So my time was kinda squeezed.

Delvin, I’m genuinely curious about what format you use on your show. Do you use any vinyl? CDs? Is it all from a laptop? Have you ever used cassette???

My son just finished his training and got a slot at his college station. He said their vinyl collection is pretty impressive, along with CD’s, but most kids use their laptops. (Though he was shown how to cue up records... so there’s hope.)

Grown Up Wrong Records will be releasing a "definitive anthology" of the Lipstick Killers later in the year.

Bip, when I was doing my show live, I'd use a mix of CDs and vinyl. And I'd bring my iPad, in case I got a request.

I've never used cassettes, as the control room in KSER doesn't include a cassette player. (I don't recall the control room at KRCC including one either.)

Since I started pre-recording my show, it's been all digital. I put the elements together in Audacity, export them to four 29-minute audio files, and upload those files to the system at the station.

As I mentioned in the thread about Fashion, KSER will resume live broadcasts on Saturday 12 June.
