Thank you for playing Thin Lizzy... I’ve been going through a long-belated discovery of the band’s catalog. Long under-appreciated, at least by me.

I had no idea how much I’d like the ‘Johnny the fox’ album. I can totally hear how it influenced the early NWOBHM artists.

By the way Delvin, I remember watching the exact same program as you (Fridays) in July of 1980 and seeing the Jam play Start! and Private Hell. I went out and bought my first Jam LP the very next day (All Mod Cons).

Philippe, much as it chagrins me to admit it, I didn't rush out that weekend to find The Jam's records. Don't ask me why. The first Jam album I added to my collection was Snap! By that time, the band had run its course.
