Oh jeez ... that's awful. I wasn't a big fan, but still, it's so painful and confusing to lose someone that way. (One of my college pals ended his own life last October, which left so many of us wondering how we could have let him slip away.) Rest in peace, Keith ... or in noise and rage, like you did onstage, if that's what makes you happy in the afterlife.

Interestingly, The Prodigy had the best-selling cassette of 2018.

Here's a respectful but critical look back at a period when the Prodigy seemed to tap into the zeitgeist but despite the band's best attempts, "Smack My Bitch Up" and "Firestarter" didn't ultimately turn out to be the electronic equivalents of "Beat on the Brat" and "Anarchy in the UK."
