New Aints

Talk about coming out of nowhere. The Aints reformed, released an album and are touring (in Australia.

The record's coming out in the States later this month. No idea about a tour, but if the Scientists can do it, so can the Aints.

Saw the Scientists on Friday and it was pretty great!

I'm seeing them tonight and tomorrow - really excited!

I don't usually promote my work here, but y'all might like to see this interview I did with Kim Salmon to preview his Austin appearances.

We talked for almost an hour and a half (at 1 a.m. his time - that was when the interview was set up), so there's a lot on the cutting room floor. Most of it's just expansion on the key points. Hell, his answer to the first question ended with him saying, "That's a bit of a long story I told you there," and then him going on for another paragraph's worth.

I might do an expanded take for another website.

It was a thrill to talk to him, though. I can't believe I had the chance.
