Recently read she turned 70 this year. Which is fine, but this means she was 31 when the B52s debut arrived...I would've guessed early 20s. The girl in the brown wig on the album cover was an instant early-teenage crush.
Now to discover she was (and still is, I guess) only a few years younger than my mom?? Ewww. I was duped!! The horror!
