Wow, I completely forgot about that song ... Never even crossed my mind to play it.

No wonder some folks think musicians are self-centered.

I love that TPOH song "Nobody But Me" - kudos for digging that one up!

Glad you dug it, Michael. I'm always a sucker for a "Song Retains the Name" set.

Which Doughboys is that - the punk Doughboys (presumably), or the one from Jersey?

Good timing on the 13th Floor Elevators track -- Roky just turned 70.

And thank you, a million times thank you, for not playing a certain Coldplay song on that 4th block (after the Dougboys.)

The power-pop Doughboys, from Montreal.

I'm not seeing any song in Coldplay's catalog that would've fit into the theme. (After two weeks of pledge-drive shows, and my LGBT Pride Month tribute before that, I just decided, "Screw this. Tonight, it's all about me.")

I think he was that guy who sang that one song. It was in Wayne's World.

He's a dude that fathered one of Chrissie Hynde's children. The guy that wasn't in the Kinks.

This installment seems to have been pretty popular. Several listeners have contacted me to say thanks for doing a show all about them.
