Southern Illinois will be the prime spot to view the total solar eclipse in August, which is cool for me because it's only a two hour drive from my house down to the Carbondale area.
Anyhow, there's a brewpub/winery type place down in the Shawnee Forest that is staging a music festival all that weekend, culminating with Ozzy Osbourne playing during the eclipse on Monday afternoon.

The overall line-up is nothing I'm the even the least bit interested in, but I have to say, the opportunity to see Ozzy Osbourne performing during a total solar eclipse is kind of tempting. Not so tempting that I'll actually try to go to it, but thumbs up to whoever dreamed up the idea.
I see that there's a band on the side stage called Betty Whitesnake, which amuses me against my better judgment.
