Iggy Pop turns 70 today!

The announcement stunned me on NPR this morning. Who would've given you odds that Iggy would outlast all the other original Stooges?

That means it was ten years ago, yesterday, that I saw him with the re-united Stooges in Denver. What an unforgettable show.

Congratulations to him! I hope he keeps on rocking for another 70 years.

Yeah. Who would have thought that he would outlive Bowie and Lou Reed? The test is, will be outlive Keith Richards? That guy has the vitality of a cockroach!
