"The one drawback is that the book no longer includes both the U.S. and U.K. labels when both exist, but it may list a U.S. label with a U.K. release date."

Really? The only reason I know about some U.K. labels, other than the trusty "imports" bin at Tower Records, was BECAUSE of TP.
Example:
HEAVEN 17
Penthouse and Pavement (UK B.E.F./Virgin) 1981
Heaven 17 (Arista) 1982
The Luxury Gap (Virgin/Arista) 1983
How Men Are (Virgin/Arista) 1984
Endless (UK Virgin) 1986
Pleasure One (Virgin) 1986
Teddy Bear, Duke & Psycho (UK Virgin) 1988 (Virgin/Caroline) 1989
And the original TP books were published in an era when U.K. was a suffix for everyone from The Chameleons UK to Wham! UK, so avoiding record label distinctions really wasn't an option.
I don't have any hard copy TP's that *don't* have a distinction.
