I'm sure we all remember Flexipop, the ultra-cheeky British pop magazine that beat Trouser Press to the flexi punch by a year or more and folded about a year before our beloved TP. I just blogged about the Boomtown Rats flexi [from issue 3] and therefore chanced to do a search and found out that as of last September, the editors have produced a Flexipop! book [via crowdsourcing] that many would probably want… and it comes with a new Spandau Ballet/Marc Almond flexidisc! My policy back in 1982 onward was to buy any issue I ever saw. I think I have 4-5 in my TP boxes [along with scant copies of New Sounds/New Styles]. I had more of the flexis than the issues, having bought a few from dealers. It was a particularly scabrous and vulgar pop mag; thoroughly British with a penchant for sex and violence that ultimately got it banned from their largest reseller. When Mark Manning [a.k.a.
