I just discovered
Shaun Ryder and UFOs on Netflix, a four part documentary series in which the Happy Mondays vocalist investigates UFOs.
Unfortunately, the series' existence is the only thing remotely bizarre about it. Otherwise, it's just a typical UFO investigation show, featuring a fat, bald, middle-aged Englishman as the host (Ryder is looking a hell of a lot like a scruffy Donald Pleasance these days). I was hoping for something a little more looney.
Ryder is reasonably down to Earth, very logical and just a normal guy compared to colorful loons like Giorgio Tsoukalos from
Ancient Aliens, which I find very disappointing.
