I'm an old enough fucker to understand that it's much more convenient to turn my wrist towards my face and look at the watch there than to dig the damn cell phone out of my pocket and look at the time there.

I guess the flip side of that is that I'm an old enough fucker that my cell phone actually spends more time in my pocket than out of it. I guess if it were surgically grafted into the palm of my hand like it is with anyone under the age of 35, I might find it more convenient, too.

I've never worn a watch ... and that goes back to the dark days days where there were no cell phones.

I just cannot stand ornaments or crapola of any kind on my fingers or hands.

I run a lot--so I've always worn one of those Timex Ironman things (whether running or not). I've never had a real grown-up, fancy watch that costs more than 30 bucks, though.

I do notice that the college students have mostly stopped wearing watches. But I'm OK with doing the *opposite* of what the Millennials are doing (as Brad described).

I have only ever worn a watch for running.

I'm an anti-ornament guy too, Kay.

I wear no jewelry, have never had any piercing or tattoo. I feel like such a freak.

Just tonight I saw the hunched over silhouette of a phone-user and thought "when we use a palm-sized supercomputer we look most like Neanderthals."
