Playing in DC tonight at the 9:30 Club. I saw them a few years ago; maybe 2007? It was after they had released "Lloyd, I'm Ready to Be Heartbroken" and I remember it was one of the mildest-mannered shows I'd ever seen: mid-tempo strummed mope-pop with periodic polite murmurings in an incomprehensible Scottish accent. By now I actually know their material and expect I would enjoy it more, but I don't know if they've improved as a live act. Anyone?
