I played some of my brother's favorites for the first two blocks of last night's installment, in appreciation for his first visit to Seattle. The show also included full-length tributes to both Tommy (his productions as well as his contributions to the band that made him famous) and Marky (whose birthday is today), an observance of National Nude Day (because KSER wouldn't let me set up a live cam in the on-air studio -- jeez, everywhere I look, missed opportunities), a nod to the 225th anniversary of Bastille Day AND a tribute to my employer's anniversary.
