Because I mentioned them in the Hitmen post from yesterday, here's Boston power-pop band The Atlantics, from their 1979 debut:

It was a great album, but unfortunately it was released by ABC Records right before that label got devoured by MCA, and The Atlantics got lost in the shuffle.

I was in Boston then, and flat out hated this song. Doesn't sound much better to me today. I made it to the first chorus. Just sayin'

Hmmm ... perhaps, in tribute to the grand ol' magazine ... you could call it the "Pseudo-Flexi of the Day"?

Excellent suggestion. "Pseudo-Flexi" it is.

I hope repeated usages of "flexi" won't attract a chiropractic or contortionist spambot.
